Two-time PBR World Champion Justin McBride (Elk City, Okla.) took the sixth round win after conquering a familiar foe, Scene of the Crash, owned by Frontier/Teague/Ron White, for 91.75 points and a $25,000 check.
As the winner of round five at the 2008 PBR World Finals presented by Wrangler in Las Vegas, Nev., Renato Nunes (Buritama, SP, Brazil) was eligible to compete for the $5,000 Enterprise Rent-A-Car “Ride with the Best” bonus during round six. He was bucked off the bull, Smash Hit; therefore, the stock contractor, Diamond S/ExclusiveGenetics.com, collected the $5,000 bonus.
The PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals presented by Wrangler wraps up on Sunday, November 9 at the Thomas & Mack Center for round seven of the world-class event.
The PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals presented by Wrangler airs LIVE on VERSUS on Oct. 31-Nov. 2 and Nov. 6-8 and LIVE on NBC on Nov. 9.
Ryan McConnel (Farmington, N.M.) suffered a cervical strain.
Cord McCoy (Tupelo, Okla.) bruised his calf.
Ross Coleman (Molalla, Ore.) bruised his calf.
Brendon Clark (Morpeth, AUS) suffered a concussion and facial lacerations which required stitches.
L.J. Jenkins (Texico, N.M.) bruised his back during Saturday’s performance.
Dustin Hall (Springfield, Mo.) suffered a concussion and is probable for tomorrow’s round.
