For the second consecutive year, the PBR will wow its Mexican fans with the planet's top 45 bull riders and the best bulls the world has to offer. Brazilian superstars 3-time PBR World Champion Adriano Moraes (Sao Paulo) and Guilherme Marchi (Sao Paulo) are expected to compete, along with 2005 PBR World Champion Justin McBride (Elk City, Okla.), and the 2006 Chihuahua Challenge event champion Wiley Petersen (Fort Hall, Idaho). 2006 PBR Mexico Finals event champion Rocky McDonald of Juarez, Mexico is expected to be in attendance also.
"The Chihuahua Challenge was voted by the PBR bull riders themselves as the best event of the 2006 season," said PBR CEO Randy Bernard. "We are very excited to be returning to Chihuahua and expanding our performance to three days. Now even more U.S. and Mexican PBR fans will have the opportunity to enjoy our show."
Tickets for the Chihuahua Challenge start at 250 pesos (approximately $22.50 U.S.) and 100 pesos for children and will be sold in Mexico through Ticketmaster.com.mx and all Liverpool and Mix Up store locations. U.S. residents can purchase tickets by calling 011 52 55 5133 6470.
All 2007 Built Ford Tough Series events are broadcast on VERSUS. This year's Chihuahua Challenge will air at 9:00 p.m. ET on VERSUS on Saturday, August 25 and will be broadcast at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, August 26.
