Flint Rasmussen recaps his thoughts on the Iron Cowboy Invitational and then looks ahead to the month of March along with Jody Newberry's recent BFTS win in St. Louis, Mo., his first since 2006.

This week Flint Rasmussen shares his thoughts on what Randy Bernard has meant to the PBR as well as this coming weekend's historic Iron Cowboy Invitational.

This week Flint talks about the upcoming BFTS event in Winston-Salem along with the crossover between the PBR and NASCAR.

In his latest audio blog, Flint Rasmussen talks about the separation between different departments that all make up the BFTS and how, during the week, being at home gives everyone a chance to remove themselves from the sport, if only a couple days. And, oh yeah, there are no conspiracies--just hard working people trying to entertain the masses.

Flint Rasmussen checks in with audio blog number three, which comes at the tail end of a long 11 day stretch of performing at two BFTS events as well as two Touring Pro events. As much fun as Flint had in New York City, the PBR entertainer talks with Keith Ryan Cartwright about how the fans in Sacramento "seem more willing to have fun" and "know what they're seeing."

Flint Rasmussen talks about his experience in NYC – crowds that boo and folks who cross the street in spite of the red hand – as well as chatting with Keith Ryan Cartwright about a recent poll on www.pbr.com in which fans were asked their opinion about his face paint.

In his first ever audio blog, Flint Rasmussen talks about the comparison between his own heart attack and the recent health news surrounding Urban Meyer's situation at the University of Florida. In just 24 hours time Flint went from admiration for Meyer's decision to step away from coaching to being disappointed in Meyer choosing the kids on the football field as opposed to the kids at home.

Well, watching Ty Murray dance actually gave me a heart attack.

In case you haven't noticed, it's been a pretty unusual two weeks for me. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have a heart attack, and it's very confusing why I had one before many of my fried-food-eating friends.

Well, once again, the PBR didn't cut me from the tour. Maybe some of you wish they would move me down to the Challenger Tour and give someone else a chance, but you're stuck with me for awhile longer. "The cut" is always a hot topic when the time rolls around, and even though I started this blog on that subject, I pretty much just show up the next week and see who is and isn't there.

It's been a busy week here at the Rasmussen Ranch now that temperatures are in the 50's and we can ride those barrel horses outside. As I sit here at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday – dressed for a workout and not quite packed for this weekend's Florida trip – I thought I should squeeze in time for a blog.
