It's an honor to come to the PBR World Finals and be considered as one of the Top 45 bull riders in world. As you tell in the first round they rode 33 out of 49 so everybody can tell that 1 through 49, including the four international riders, how good the riders are.
They're the elite of the elite.
There's no easy way through the draft. It's sort of a pick your poison. They're all rank and you can be 90 on any one of them and it's just a matter of which one you want to try and survive tonight.
I got a chance to ask a lot of the stock contractors about their bulls and just visit with them about it. In Round 2 there was a bull named Showtime that was hidden and they say you can win first. The rounds pay $25,000 here and I think from what I heard and what I saw he can be a little dangerous, but I wanted to take my chances to try and survive him.
Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
It was a good year for you, cheers! But that’s nothing compared to next year, 2009! PBR history books will record it as “The Year of Cord McCoy!” Most Best Wishes with the coming year, bro.
And thanks again for autographing my “CordMcCoy.Com” cap again in Oakland. Catch ya in Sacramento in a few weeks.
Merry Christmas to you & yours, Cord! And a Blessed New Years to All!
Best Regards,
Joe
