Title: Licensing Account Executive
Description: Summary: The Licensing Account Executive located at the PBR Headquarters in Pueblo, CO, will assist in the acquisition of PBR licensee partners to assure positive business results, and will work to uphold brand integrity, develop relationships and new partnerships. Essential Functions: Research product categories that PBR should leverage through licensing; Identifies the top 10 businesses within each category; Prioritizes the business prospects; Research, using tools, the names and contact information of the prospects; Responsible for cold calling and maintaining a daily call sheet, which is emailed daily to VP and Manager, Licensing; Responsible for competitively shopping all categories of retailers from tack and feed, to western stores, mass marketers, department stores, price clubs, etc. to write up prospective licensees to call; Turn competition shopping for each store visits (approved in advance by VP or Manager, Licensing); Assist with account management throughout lifecycle including contracts, projects and relationships; Develop, prepare, maintain and update tracking mechanisms prospects; Coordinate delivery of collateral and all other updated materials; and Assure that all efforts are consistent with PBR goals, guidelines, value and integrity. Compensation: DOE (base plus commission)
Experience: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Licensing, Consumer Products or a related field; 5+ years in Corporate Sales; Cold calling/phone sales; Research/computer skills for qualifying on Hoovers or The List and lead management; Closing sales from $5K-$50K; 1-2 years licensing sales experience; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills; Attention to Detail a must.
